Project Access provides specialty medical care and requires a referral from a primary care provider. Below is a list of primary care providers who work with patients who do not have health insurance. 

Before going to any of these providers,  please call first to determine their hours and scheduling procedures. 


Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department Clinics -- multiple locations

Services: Primary care for all ages, physical exams, genetic screenings, immunizations, contraceptive care, maternal and child health, health education and counseling, preventive screenings and tests, HIV testing/counseling, pregnancy testing, and breast and cervical cancer screening. www.health.hamiltontn.org

Fees/Payments: TennCare and CoverKids accepted; sliding scale fees based on ability to pay.

CHI Memorial Health Care Centers -- multiple locations

Services: Primary and comprehensive family care, medical tests, and preventive screenings. www.memorial.org/community-health-centers

Fees/Payments: Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. TennCare, Medicare and most commercial insurance accepted.

Fees/Payments: Provides care regardless of ability to pay. TennCare is accepted.
